Business Administrative Technology
The Business Administrative Technology program at Cowley offers those students who wish to work in an office environment a variety of options to choose from. In addition, with these programs, students receive field work experience opportunities, which give students real-life work experience in a variety of different work environments.

For the student who wishes to work in a variety of office environments,
an Associate of Applied Science degree in Administrative Office Management,
as well as a vocational certificate in Office Careers, is also available.
Many of the courses in these programs are offered online.
An Associate of Applied Science degree in Legal
Office Assistants available
for those students who wish to work in a legal office, and certificates
Office Assistant and Legal
Office Support are also available.
These programs are offered as online programs.
Students who are interested in working in a medical office have the option of choosing an Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Coding or Medical Transcription. Certificates in Medical Coding, Medical Transcription, and Medical Office Support are also available. These programs are offered as online programs.

Regardless of which type of program a student wishes to pursue, the well-qualified Business Administrative Technology student will gain proficiencies in areas that employers are requesting, including excellent keyboarding, proofreading, and document formatting skills; advanced computer skills; strong communication skills; broad administrative support skills; excellent interpersonal skills; flexibility; and professionalism.
