Students in Cowley College's ACES (Academic Civic Engagement through Service) program will conduct a benefit Pulled Pork Dinner on Wednesday, October 4.

The benefit dinner is made possible with the help of the Optimist Club of Arkansas City, Jay Warren, and the Central Christian Church Ladies.

The meal is carry out only at lunch and dinner. Lunch, packaged and ready to go, can be picked up in the Earle N. Wright Community Room and available from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Dinner carry-out, packaged and ready to go, will be available from 4:30-7 p.m. and can be picked up at the North door of the Brown Center, parking lot B. The meal will include pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, bread, and chocolate cake.

Tickets cost $10 each and are being sold by ACES students. Those interested in tickets should call James Fry at 620-441-5269 or email him at james.fry@cowley.edu. All proceeds will go towards the next Cowley College ACES food packaging event, in which all food packaged will stay local to help surrounding communities, food banks, and ministry meals.
