Constitution Day acknowledged by Cowley College’s Media Club

The Media Club at Cowley College recognized Constitution Day one day late this year. With September 17th falling on a Sunday, the club opted to put out a QR code challenging students, staff, and faculty to take the citizenship test and see how they did.

Dianne Flickinger had her Cowley Collegiate Quiz Bowl team members take the citizenship test to see how they would do.

“I have several students in Collegiate Quiz Bowl who passed as legal citizens,” Flickinger said. “They had fun answering the Naturalization Test questions in practice. Two students answered 9 out of 10 correctly." 

Media Club sponsor Meg Smith said this was a fun way for Media Club members to go through the questions and discuss their knowledge of their country and the constitution.
