b'The 2022/2023 Academic Year was one of celebration and change. Cowley College held many events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first class of Cowley County Community College in the fall of 1922.Banners, flags, and road signs were designed with the centennial logo and installed for the kick-off of the school year. The community was invited to the back-to-school celebrations and a firework display on August 17 to celebrate the start of the centennial year. The College hosted community members, politicians, and other local dignitaries for a Proclamation Day celebration on August 31 in recognition of the Kansas Governor proclaiming September 12, 2022, as the official anniversary date of Cowley College. October brought more celebration opportunities with the annual Arkalalah fall festival.
