How to find my office:

Enter through the Front (east) doors of the Brown Center and proceed toward the back of the foyer, and take a left. Head past the stairway and the elevator. You will see a hallway. Head down the hall and enter the first door on the left. My office is the second one on the left.

Stephen Butler holds a Masters in Worship Studies from the Institute for Worship Studies in Florida, and a Masters in Music Performance with an emphasis in piano and composition from Southwestern College.

Stephen is currently a Collaborative Pianist and Instructor of Music Theory and Piano at Cowley College in Arkansas City, KS where he has been privileged to teach since 2018. He has also served as the Pastor at Hackney Community Baptist Church in Winfield, Kansas since 2014.

The Kansas Federation of Music Clubs awarded him Musician of the Year in 2015. Stephen and his brother Page have 4 albums, and they released their newest, “Do You Wanna Go?” in December of 2025.

In 2025, Stephen was featured keyboardist for the widely acclaimed Elvis impersonator Joseph Hall at Metropolitan Opera house in McPherson, Kansas. Stephen has also shared the stage with the current lead singer of Queen: Marc Martel.

Stephen and his wife, Zee, have been married for 33 years and they have four children: Jordan, Lakynn, Lindzey and Zane; and four grandchildren: Bo, Bennie, Elliot and Agnes.
