Outcomes Assessment
Assessment at Cowley College involves faculty in the important work of student learning outcomes assessment and program review.
Learning Outcomes Assessment
Faculty establish curriculum-wide student learning outcomes at the course, program (PLO) and general education or global learning (GLO) outcome levels. Faculty create action to support quality in teaching and learning using information collected annually.
Global learning outcomes (GLO) focus on the skills and knowledge all students should be able to demonstrate as a result of their attendance at Cowley College. Program learning outcomes or PLO are measurable outcomes that demonstrate student achievement.
