Cowley College Hosts Successful JAG-K Region 4 Career Development Conference

Cowley College proudly hosted the JAG-K Region 4 Career Development Conference on Tuesday, February 24, welcoming students from across the region for a day filled with competition, leadership development, and career exploration.

Students representing multiple schools gathered on Cowley’s Arkansas City campus to compete in a variety of events designed to highlight their academic preparation and workplace readiness skills. Competitive events included Prepared Speaking, Project-Based Learning (PBL), Financial Budget, Employability Skills, Career Preparation, and Creative Decision Making.

At the conclusion of the day’s events, Winfield earned top honors as the overall team champion, showcasing exceptional performance across multiple categories.

Events like the Region 4 Career Development Conference give students a platform to demonstrate the skills they have developed while building confidence and professional experience. By hosting the event, Cowley College reinforced its commitment to workforce development and to supporting programs that positively impact students across Kansas.

Cowley College congratulates all participating students and advisors on a successful day of competition and celebrates Winfield for earning the overall team title.
