Brianna Lee Named February Student of the Month

Cowley College proudly announces Brianna Lee as the February Student of the Month. A dedicated and accomplished 19-year-old student, Brianna maintains a 4.0 GPA while pursuing a degree in Accounting. Originally from Ponca City, Oklahoma, Brianna graduated from Ponca City High School. She is an active member of the Cowley campus, serving as a tutor at the Tiger Learning Center, student ambassador, and track and field team member.

Brianna's commitment to academics and extracurricular activities is evident in her contributions to the college and community. She has volunteered at Arkalalah for the past two years, assisting with the kids' run, and has taken part in greeting elementary school students on their first day of school alongside her track and field teammates. Her leadership and dedication make her a role model among her peers.

Reflecting on this achievement, Brianna expressed deep gratitude for the support she has received throughout her journey."I could not be here at Cowley without the amazing support I have. My father always cheered me on in everything I did during high school, which encouraged me to do my best to make him proud. My high school coach, Jason Freeman, always had encouraging words and connected me with Coach Edwards here at Cowley, allowing me to compete. He still checks up on me to this day and wishes me luck before every track meet. My grandmother, April Lee, has been my best friend and one of my biggest supporters, and my non-sentimental grandfather, Edward Lee, never fails to tell me he's proud of me. I do this all for them, and I feel immense gratitude at being named February Student of the Month."

After completing her studies at Cowley, Brianna plans to transfer to Oklahoma State University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. With her unwavering dedication and strong support system, her future looks exceptionally bright.
