Hadley O'Toole Named March Student of the Month

Hadley O'Toole

Cowley College is proud to recognize Hadley O'Toole as the March Student of the Month. A dedicated and passionate student, O'Toole has demonstrated outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to community service throughout her time at Cowley.

O'Toole, a 19-year-old Pre-Nursing major, currently holds a 3.54 GPA. Born and raised in Arkansas City, KS, she graduated from Arkansas City High School in 2024 before deciding to continue her education at Cowley College. She credits her decision to attend Cowley to its deep-rooted presence in her family, as well as the vocal music scholarship she received.

On campus, O'Toole is an active member of several organizations, including Concert Choir, CC Singers, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Student Ambassadors. She also serves as President of the Student Senate. In addition, she participated in the Fall musical and was honored as the 92nd Queenalalah at the annual Arkalalah Festival.

Beyond her academic and extracurricular involvement, O'Toole is deeply committed to her community. She serves as a greeter, choir member, and collection counter at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She also finds fulfillment in working at the Cowley College Wellness Center and taking on jobs as a babysitter and pet sitter.

Expressing her gratitude for the recognition, O'Toole shared, “I am so thrilled to be named the March Student of the Month. I work hard every day to push myself and be a positive energy to those around me, so having people at Cowley recognize that means a lot. Cowley has been more than just a stepping stone—it has been a walking path leading me to all I will achieve in life. I am very thankful.”

After graduating from Cowley, O'Toole plans to continue her education at Pittsburg State University, where she will pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2027.

Cowley College congratulates Hadley O'Toole on her well-deserved honor and looks forward to seeing the great things she will accomplish in the future.
