Elementary students take part in the Easter Egg coloring contest

Approximately 750 Arkansas City and Oxford elementary students participated in the Cowley College Easter Egg coloring contest to win a basket full of Easter goodies. Morgan Cruz was the winner from Ark City while Camdin Walker took home the prize in Oxford.

Cowley College's mascot, Tank the Tiger, surprised Cruz with their prizes at Frances Willard Elementary and Walker in Oxford.

“Surprising students and the contest winners with a visit from Tank the Tiger brought immense joy not only to the students but also to Cowley College,” Cowley College Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Rachel Bates said. “At Cowley College, we believe in the transformative impact of community engagement. This activity was a fun way to cultivate meaningful relationships with the youth in our community, creating enduring connections through memorable experiences.”
