Life Through Word and Lens student showcase to be held May 3

The Life Through Word and Lens student showcase will be held Wednesday, May 3, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Gallery Hallway of Cowley College’s Brown Center, with some works overflowing into the Earle N. Wright Community Room. Students from Marlys Cervantes' Journal Writing/Storytelling and Focused Seminar classes and Ryan Doom's Fiction Writing class will have portfolios at the event, and Meg Smith's Digital Photography will showcase photography while her various Mass Communication classes will have class projects such as films to show during the evening. 

"We are all excited about this group of students," Cervantes expressed when asked about the upcoming showcase. "They are a talented group who have already shown their work in a variety of ways across the campus and community. We invite everyone to attend the showcase and show their support."

The event is come-and-go, and refreshments will be served.
