An Artistic Evening at Cowley - Cowley Hosted Arts Events Tuesday

Cowley organized an exciting evening Tuesday night to spotlight the arts programs and honor our talented students. The evening began with the Sophomore Art & Design showcase themed "Better Than Last Year" which was a fantastic way to highlight the progress and creativity of the students. The work of Sophomore artists Taylor Pappan, Laurence Aggson, Stellar Young, Annabella Harmon, Rachel Silhan, Danny Ball, Cole Batten, Macaulie Hannah, Daria Iakimova, Kristen Carter, Sam Guinn, and Vandal Kent work will remain on display in the Wright Room until May 7th, allowing others to appreciate their talents and celebrate artistic expression in their community.

Following the reception, The Cowley Spring Concert was underway. Director of Vocal Music Lindsay Allen said, “I'm so proud of the choir and the program they put on last night. Even with the possibility of severe weather, we had a wonderful audience to perform to and the weather was just a bonus of sound effects for the choir's theme of Elements! I will miss the students who will be moving on after Cowley and am proud of their accomplishments this year”. Other performances included CC Singers and pieces from the Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble.

Even with all the moving pieces and different participants the evening went off without a hitch and was an amazing way to pay homage to the work these students have put in throughout the year.
