Golden Tigers Fall Semester Kickoff

golden tiger enrollment

The Cowley College Golden Tigers program had a fantastic turnout at their recent enrollment events, marking a vibrant start to the fall semester! This fall, the Golden Tigers were thrilled to offer just under 70 classes across various interests, with the goal of offering something for everyone.

The program continues to thrive thanks to incredible partnerships with local organizations, including K-State Research and Extension – Cowley County, Time Out for Wellness, Ark City Aquatic Center, Ark City Police Department, Chaplin Nature Center, Pumpkin Pants Ranch, Field to Fabric, Chisholm Trail Museum, Bartlett Arboretum and others. These collaborations significantly enhance the offerings and deepen the community connections in the Golden Tigers program.

This program remains a cherished community resource, and this semester is no exception. "The Golden Tigers program is such a wonderful program for our community, and I love reconnecting with Golden Tigers after a busy summer, along with meeting new Golden Tigers who are joining the program for the first time this semester," said Micah Fry, Community Education Coordinator.

The fall semester has kicked off with a whirlwind of activity, but it’s been an exceptionally positive and exciting start. We look forward to a season filled with engaging classes and meaningful community connections!
