Community College Business Officers Announces Officers and New Directors
Community College Business Officers (CCBO) elected officers and new members to its Board of Directors during the association’s Annual Conference held September 22-24, 2024, in Savannah, Ga.. Past President Tiska Thomas, Chief Financial Officer at Dallas College, passed the gavel to incoming President John Pitcher, CFO and Vice President of Administration and Finance at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston. Other 2024-2025 Executive Committee members include:
- Maderia Ellison, Vice President for Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer at Northland Pioneer College in Holbrook, Ariz., serves as CCBO President-Elect.
- Charlotte Eubank, Chief Financial Officer at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Mo., now serves as Vice President for Regional Services.
- Jessica Booth, Director of Finance & Financial Reporting at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, S.C., continues to serve as Treasurer.
In addition to the 2024-2025 officers, Holly Harper, Vice President of Finance and Administration at Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kan., represents Region 3 on the board. Angela Fountain, Associate Vice President of Business and Finance at Nashville State Community College in Nashville, Tenn., serves as Region 7 Representative.
CCBO is a network of professionals that moves community colleges forward through relevant professional development and thought leadership. The only organization dedicated to continuing education for individuals in the community college business office, CCBO trains the next generation of chief business officers through its flagship Leadership Academy program. CCBO also provides updated information on national issues facing community colleges through a webinar series and an annual conference.
