Daughter of Former Queen Alalah becomes a Finalist
Born and raised in Arkansas City, Hadley has always connected strongly to her community. At just 19 years old, she is currently a Pre-Nursing major at Cowley College, maintaining an impressive GPA of 3.79 as she works toward becoming a registered nurse.
Coming from a family with deep roots at Cowley, Hadley draws inspiration from her parents, Jason and Shannon O'Toole, who met while attending the college. Both graduated with degrees, with Jason being a talented baseball player and Shannon a former Queen Alalah. This legacy motivated Hadley to follow in their footsteps alongside her two supportive older brothers, Hunter (25) and Haden (22).
Hadley is actively involved in campus life at Cowley. She serves as the Student Senate President and a Student Ambassador. She is also a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Her passion for the arts shines through her participation in the Concert Choir, CC Singers, and her involvement in the Cowley theater program, where she has recently been named the lead role of James in the upcoming musical, James and the Giant Peach.
Hadley is active in many aspects of her community beyond her academic and extracurricular commitments. As a Sacred Heart Catholic Church member, she participates in various activities, including counting church collections, greeting parishioners, and singing in the church choir. She also works at the Cowley Wellness Center and serves as a house sitter/pet sitter while scoring and line judging for high school and college volleyball.
In recognition of her involvement and leadership, Hadley was honored to be named a Queen Alalah Finalist. Having looked up to past queens, she hopes to inspire younger generations in Arkansas City. She intends to transfer to a four-year university and obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), where she will continue influencing her community.
With a strong foundation, a legacy of leadership, and a commitment to service, Hadley will make a difference in nursing and inspire others along the way.
