Cowley Tigers Volleyball Team Heads to National Semifinals

The Cowley College Lady Tigers, the defending NJCAA Division II National Champions, are set to compete in the National Semifinals after an impressive victory over Illinois Central on Thursday. The top-seeded Tigers swept their opponent in straight sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-13) at the Alliant Energy Power House in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, extending their jaw-dropping winning streak to 79 matches this season.

The Lady Tigers, boasting a flawless 38-0 record, will take on fifth-seeded Heartland Community College (37-7) in the semifinals on Friday, November 22nd, at 4:00 PM at the Alliant Energy Power House in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The stakes are high as the Tigers aim to defend their title and continue their dominance in collegiate volleyball.

The community is encouraged to come out and support the Tigers as they represent Cowley College on the national stage. For fans unable to attend in person, the game will be available to stream online via NJCAA TV.
