New Students

Welcome to Tiger Territory!

As a new Cowley College student you've just taken the first step toward your future. As classes begin, here is a checklist to place you on the path to success.

• Complete the FREE admissions application. 
• Apply for Scholarships & Financial Aid.
• Send in your official high school transcripts and transcripts from any other colleges you have attended.
• Complete placement requirements through transcript, ACT/SAT scores, or arrange to take a course placement assessment. This can be done at the time of your enrollment appointment.
• Book an appointment with an Admissions Representative to enroll in classes.
• Login information for Tiger Connect should arrive the following business day after completing the application. If not received, email Admissions at admissions@cowley.edu.
• Submit your housing contract and deposit (for students interesting in dormitory living at the Arkansas City & Sumner campuses). 
• Log into TigerConnect for access to your course schedule, current bill, financial aid documentation, final grades, etc. 
• View your bill and make payment arrangements. Online payment plans can be set up through the student finances tab in Tiger Connect.
• Scholarships and Financial Aid dispursements may not appear right away. If you have questions, contact an Admissions Representative. 
• Order or purchase textbooks from the Cowley College Bookstore. Books are available for rent or purchase 2-3 weeks before the start of each semester.
• Log into Blackboard to complete Blackboard orientation. This is required before students are able to see any online course content.
• Attend your Student Orientation. Look for any new student activities to participate in. 
• Begin your Cowley College journey on your first day of class!
