Campus Nurse
Health Services
Lexie Perrett brings a person centered support perspective to her nursing practice which focuses on meeting people where they are in life. This approach promotes communication and integration of the individual to be active participants in their own health, so that they are able to determine their own unique choices for individual quality of life. This approach is distinctively different from a clinical approach that follows rigid treatment plans. It is Lexie's perspective that all people are entitled to the accurate education and understanding of their medical conditions and all modalities of support for those conditions.
Lexie began her pre-nursing career as a student at Cowley College before transferring to Pratt College to complete her LPN certificate and then her associate's degree in nursing sciences as a graduate of the Pratt RN program. After several years of practice in home and community nursing for persons with intellectual and physical disabilities, Lexie continued her education at Chamberlain University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Thereafter, she also obtained a Kansas State Board of Nursing Compact License which enables her to practice in states across the nation.
