Student Director of Athletics Media
- Maintain 3.0 GPA
- Full-Time Student (Minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
- Kansas Resident
- Required to live in Residence Housing
- Participation in activities, organizations, or clubs is allowed but not to take priority over scholarship responsibilities
- Attend all home athletic events
- Be available to attend sporadic athletic practices to build portfolios for each team
- Assist Athletic Department personnel with media tasks
- Collaborate with Athletics Photographer/Videographer and Athletics Social Media/Graphic Design
- Required to work 20 hours per week with approved athletics tasks
This role would oversee the sports media student team as well as the managers of individual sports teams who are responsible for sports communications work. This scholarship role would require basic project management skills as well as organizational skills to help delegate tasks to the associated team members and address incoming project sports-related projects. This role would retain the basic skills of photography, videography, social media, and graphic design to help cover peak competitive seasons.
