Meredith Mahoney
Meredith Mahoney received her M.A. in Anthropology from the College of William and Mary in 2007. Her professional background encompasses a unique blend of experiences in public outreach, nonprofit programming, and administrative oversight.
Before joining Cowley, Meredith held positions at the History Colorado Center and the Fairfield Foundation, where she supported research, education, and public outreach programs and initiatives. In her role as an executive assistant overseeing a multi-million-dollar real estate portfolio, she developed a strong ability to manage complex administrative tasks and handle sensitive personal and financial information.
Meredith began her journey at Cowley as an adjunct faculty member in 2015 and transitioned to a full-time position in 2018. She currently teaches courses in Anthropology and Philosophy. Her research interests include applied ethics in cultural heritage preservation and management. Meredith also represents the College on the Etzanoa Conservancy Board of Directors.
Meredith is committed to professional development that promotes student retention and academic success. In recent years, she has attended workshops on online and classroom accessibility, Mental Health First Aid, and the application of neuroscience insights to enhance student learning. Outside of the classroom, Meredith dedicates her time to serving the community through youth mentorship and sports coaching.
