Cowley College Named Global Winner in Anthology’s Fix Your Content Day 2024
On October 3, Cowley College participated in Anthology’s fifth annual Fix Your Content Day, a 24-hour global competition where universities around the world use Anthology® Ally to improve the accessibility of digital learning materials.
The Fix Your Content Day competition encourages educators, instructors, and staff to improve the accessibility of online course content, enabling students of all abilities to access these valuable resources. Participants race against the clock to adjust as many digital course files as possible within 24 hours, setting a precedent for the creation of more inclusive digital learning content.
Cowley is pleased to announce that we placed 3rd on the leaderboard! This win showcases our longstanding commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging online environment. It is the result of a collaborative effort from our faculty and staff, who have achieved a total of over 650 corrections within the competition’s 24 hours, showcasing their dedication to making their online resources accessible to all students.
“The Fix Your Content Day competition brings educators together to create a lasting impact that empowers every student to succeed by making content more accessible to all,” said Dr. Amy Lomellini, Product Accessibility Lead at Anthology. “We’re proud to congratulate Cowley College for their significant contributions to accessibility in higher education.”
