Cowley College Hosts NAQT Community College Sectional Championship Tournament

Cowley College is proud to announce that it will host the NAQT (National Academic Quiz Tournaments) Community College Sectional Championship Tournament on Saturday, January 25, 2025. The event will take place at the Webb-Brown Academic Center, providing an exciting opportunity for Collegiate Quiz Bowl (CQB) teams from across Kansas to compete for a chance to qualify for the NAQT National Championship Tournament, scheduled for February near Chicago.

The tournament will feature intense and fast-paced academic competition as students demonstrate their knowledge across various subjects, including science, history, literature, pop culture, and more. Matches will run continuously from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and community members are invited to attend and support these talented students in action.

This event is Cowley College’s only home tournament for the season, making it a special opportunity to cheer on the home team and experience the thrill of CQB in person. The event is free and open to the public. Whether you’re a fan of academic trivia or simply looking for an inspiring way to spend your Saturday, this tournament promises to be an engaging and memorable experience.
