Nondestructive testing or NDT is a set of inspection and analysis techniques used to evaluate the safety and quality of a material, component, or system without altering or damaging it.

Our NDT degree and certificate programs are highly sought after and provide Cowley College graduates with hands-on experience and job-ready training in multiple NDT techniques. Upon fulfilling the on-the-job training requirements, our students are prepared to take and pass the Level II certification examinations required to perform each inspection method for the many industries with career opportunities in Nondestructive Testing.

Classes at Cowley College meet or exceed the requirements recommended by SNT- TC 1-A, CP-189, and NAS 410 with curriculum that meets or exceeds the requirements outlined in CP-105.With supplementary courses studying industrial materials, blueprint reading, even offering NC3 Precision Measurement courses and certification. All to ensure that CowleyNDT’s grads are of the most work ready graduates in the community.

Upon completion of this program, students will be trained to set up and calibrate equipment, interpret, and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, or specifications. Students will be prepared upon fulfilling the on-the-job training hour requirements to take and pass the level II certification examinations required to perform each inspection method independently at one of the many career opportunities available.
