Greg Mink has been involved in Mathematics education since 2008.  Greg obtained his Bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics from Michigan Technological University in 2012 and later obtained his Masters degree in Applied and Industrial Mathematics from Oakland University in 2014.

Greg has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of fields related to Mathematics including:

  • Peer Mathematics tutoring as an undergraduate student.
  • Teaching Pre-Calculus as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
  • Conducting  research as a Graduate Research Assistant in the field of Mathematical Biology.
  • Teaching Mathematics as an adjunct and Full time Instructor at multiple colleges in Michigan.
  • Teaching full time with Cowley College since 2021 and serving as the Math Liaison for the Natural Science and Mathematics department for the past few years.

Greg enjoys the challenge of explaining difficult math concepts in various ways to help different types of learners.  As soon as the student is able to relate the material to their personal experience is when math really “clicks”.  Besides math Greg enjoys spending time with friends, chess, sports and gaming (board and video).
