This Associate of Science Degree is outlined as a two-year degree and designed to transfer for a student interested in a program focusing on Math, Science, Engineering or a Health/Medical Profession.  A minimum of 62 credit hours in the designated areas are required to complete the Associate of Science (AS) degree in Liberal Arts. (No particular major area of emphasis).  
This Associate of Science Degree is a two-year degree option designed to prepare a student interested in transferring to a four-year program focused on Math, Science, Engineering, Health, or Medical Professions. STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and math) is growing in importance as businesses and organizations become more reliant on technology, science, and engineering. STEM-related occupations are expected to grow faster than the national job growth averages. Career possibilities are diverse, challenging, and rewarding.
