A practical pathway to an agriculture career

The Cowley College Agriculture Transfer pathway helps students prepare for transfer to a four-year school or university in an agriculture program. Our transfer pathway provides a comprehensive set of courses in agricultural sciences, economics, engineering, and business. Students receive both theoretical and practical training in agriculture, allowing them to succeed in this dynamic and ever-changing field.

We offer courses in animal sciences, plant sciences, soil sciences, food production, and agricultural business. Our courses are designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn core principles of agriculture while developing skills for success in the workforce. In addition, our program provides students with hands-on experience in the field, allowing them to apply their knowledge in real-life situations.

Our Agriculture Transfer pathway is perfect for students who wish to study agriculture at the university level. What classes you will need will depend on where you plan to transfer and what your eventual major is. Consult your advisor about what classes you should take to prepare for your major and college of choice.
