Students at Cowley are given the opportunity to earn a technical certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree. Upon receipt of an AAS degree, individuals may choose to further their education at many four-year schools through our education agreements. This program provides the student with the entry-level skills required to become an automotive technician. The motor vehicle repair industry has transformed into a high-tech career. It requires advanced technical training, strong communication abilities, computer skills, electrical/electronic background, mechanical know-how, and hand-eye coordination in the colleges automotive building.

SERVICE. DIAGNOSTICS. TECHNICIAN.

The Automotive Service Technology program is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) for both secondary and post-secondary students and is an educational member of the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Graduates may become service managers, service engineers, automotive writers, automotive technology instructors, service technicians, parts technicians, shop owners, and many other career opportunities.
